QUAY THE STAR

"A Diva in the making"When you think of R&B and Soul music, you should think of none other than Quay. As you're listening to her soulful voice echo through your earlobes you then start to ask yourself who this person is. Who is she,you ask... She is Quay, an R&b/Soul singer from New York who is a native of Long Island. She has been singing for as long as she can remember. At a very young age, Quay took vocal lessons and would go to church with grandmother. She also dedicated herself to her school chorus to improve her singing ability. Quay's musical inspirations include Aretha Franklin,Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Keyshia Cole. When she was a child she use to pretend she was a performer by dancing in her room while watching music videos.It wasn't until she was a senior in high school that she realized that she was serious and wanted to perform all over the world. She had to sing the star spangled banner in front of her school audience, and when she finished,she was unstoppable from then on... Currently, Quay is recording her demo album and also collaborating with other artist and writing songs.She is also in the midst of writing a book and working on her clothing line. Not to mention, Quay has worked at Doug E Fresh Entertainment/Entertainment Music as a promotions manager, in which she expand her knowledge in the music business. Later this year and early next year, she will be promoting herself at various parties that she will be hosting and attending.
