About Me

Graduated from Exeter Uni (bio.med. chemistry), just finished my chemistry phd (also at Exeter!!)... lookin for a job now... not much fun but there we go!
Now that's the boring bit is over, I spend most of my time getting wasted and listening to music.... pretty much anything (see below!) especially liking a good dose of metal!
Have moved to London and am working for the BMA... have given up on professional chemistry for one reason and another, and am looking for something thats fun....
Also have a healthy obsession with playing and watching football (soccer to you guys across the pond!) also like watching contact sports like american football, ice hockey, rugby etc. have played a little Skate Hockey when I was younger, but was crap!
Other than that....
Play guitar and bass....
Enjoy a few hands of poker....
a little bit of hattrick and getting drunk....
Like watching movies, love jackie chan but also gore, horror, action, comedy anything is good... except romance that is... sorry, its just not me!

I like everything.... except crappy pop and country rubbish.... NOOOO!!! My favourites at the moment include System of a Down, Skindred, DJ Marky, Korn, Roni Size, Fear Factory, Foo Fighters, Cypress Hill, Deftones, 36 Crazyfists, 4Flaws, Absolute beginner, Mass Hysteria, Amon Tobin, Squarepusher, Asian Dub Foundation, GLC, Audioslave.... and the list goes on... and on... and on....

Movies:

Jackie Chan movies....
Action films - any really.... T2 is probably one of my faves.... oh, and the predator......
Comedy flicks - I like the naked gun series, hot shots series, adam sandler films... all that sort of shit......
Favourites at the moment (no particular order) -
Withnail and I, Battle Royale (1 & 2), Dodgeball and Football Factory (a must See!!!) Go see them all, you won't be disappointed.... and if you are disappointed then you're not worth talking to ;-)

Television:

Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama etc.... anything like that is good! Brainiac is always good for a laugh

Books:

Rule of four, A short history of nearly everything, and Potter... (sorry!)
