Katha Harris always knew she was going to be a singer. From the heart of Texas, the little freckle-faced redhead made her debut singing in the Texas opries including Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue and Rodeo City Music Hall.After graduating from the University of Texas with a BBA in Marketing, she set her sights on making her dreams a reality. She packed everything she owned in her Grandma's hand-me-down down Buick and moved to Nashville. Since being in Music City, she’s played everywhere from Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe to the world famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge.As a singer/songwriter she has a distinct soulful country sound that is conjured up from deep within evoking much emotion in her fans. Just as Texas is big, she has a voice and spirit to match. When not performing or writing songs, Harris is hitting the industry by storm, getting involved with the Women's Music Business Assocation, NSAI, and working at a Nashville music publishing company.
