At the spring equinox of 2005, three friends gathered up in a living room in order to share some ideas, have a few drinks and listen to some good music. The occasion: Expomusic, a musical instruments fair that takes place in São Paulo once a year. The twin brothers Renato and Rafael Siqueira – former members of several metal and rock bands from the southern part of the country, such as MALEDICTION, NEKROTICISM, among others – were hanging out at their friend’s old apartment, Jorge Roberto, lead singer and guitar player for the now extinct death metal band BLOOD FROM THE WOUND.
After innumerable bottles of beer, came the acknowledgement of the fact that they were always meant to play together, especially because of the special bond that brings them together through the wide variety of musical influences they share. But that was only the beginning of the whole process of creating music across the boundaries of music genres and state borders, since Jorge Roberto lives miles apart from the Siqueira brothers.
However, their confidence about the beauty and aggressiveness of the music they knew they would create was stronger than all the difficulties they had to face in order to put their ideas together and start writing and composing. There were only a few rehearsals and they knew right away it was all there. There were no words to describe the feeling that took over the whole atmosphere inside the studio, and from that moment on, there were no doubts about the name of the band that was just born: UNSPEAKABLE.
One can expect the utmost pursue for the perfect arrangement, yet to be composed.
