About Me

For those of you that don't already know from the big fat title on this page, my name is Stephen Barry. I currently stay in Aiken, South Carolina, but I hope to start my sophomore year at Southern Adventist University (in Collegedale, TN) in the fall. I've loved music for most of my life, but I didn't start creating anything on my own until about fall 2006. Since then I've made a lot of instrumental tracks and have developed some unique sounds. By the way, I do a lot of sampling in my work. If you got a problem with that, see me. HA! I've also been writing poetry and lyrics to go with my tracks more recently. The main project I'm focusing on right now is titled "Notes On A Revelation" (most of the tracks up now are instrumentals from it). I've always been a fan of REAL music as opposed to just shucking and jiving to make some money and putting that on a CD. Who's going to really relate to that anyway? God has given me a lot of ideas and concepts and I can't let them just sit here and go to waste. Stay tuned and let me know what you think of what I've got up so far.Grace and Peace.Stephen

Networking (I want to get better at it.)

I just realized how important networking is. I have 1160 friends on my myspace, but only a small fraction of that number actually listens to the music, or stays updated on the regular. Why is this? ...
