My talent as an artist has always given me a positive sense of accomplishment. I have studied many forms and styles of art and have worked in all mediums. As a child I was noticed by teachers to have extraordinary natural ability to express myself with form and color. Because of my love for art I’ve practiced everyday so my skill level has become advanced. ............................................................

I’ve also learned expert techniques from professional artists studying with them as an apprentice. I was chosen to attend a special high school for the arts called C.A.P.A. creative and performing arts. After high school I began to utilize my gift to earn a living. I started designing tee-shirts and silk-screening them and marketing the shirts to people in my neighborhood. I felt that art was the perfect way to address social issues concerning poverty, drugs, and crime. Personally distributing my artwork has given me a first hand experience in dealing with people, and communicating in a positive fashion.

Soon I began to gain a sense of responsibility for helping my underprivileged neighborhood youth overcome some of their problems and stress through the joys of art. I started doing performance art in view of the public, hoping to motivate others to join in. Gradually kids began to participate and find much enjoyment from collectively collaborating to create a work of art.

The purpose of these activities is to provide a deeper and stronger self-esteem and promote unity. As I continued to paint in public with help from street kids I decided to form and conceptualize a team of artists to perform public service announcements to counteract the ills of our crime infested environment.

Soon I started to envision our group as super hero crime fighters and named our team S.P.O.K.E.s which stands for: spiritual-people-organizing-kindred/karmic/kinetic/kemetic- energy. Transporting all the paints, canvas and brushes became a burdensome task so I modified a hand truck with recycled car bumpers to store all the various tool and supplies in a organized accessible manner, this I call I care very much for the progress of our common unity or community and I believe that my creator gave me a unique and rare gift of insight to share with humanity and it is my supreme desire to fulfill my ideas and concepts to enrich, uplift, motivate and inspire the troubled youth of the world.
