Ess.Kaye

Ess.Kaye is Seth Kangley. Hailing originally from Boston, Ess.Kaye's been reppin' the Boogie Down since 2005, crafting his skills as an up-and-coming producer and singer/songwriter. A talented vocalist, Ess.Kaye channeled his musical ability at an early age through singing, performing with numerous ensembles while in grammar school and up through his days at Syracuse University, where in 2004 he earned his BA in Fine Arts and Music Business. Whether touring Europe or just singing for the crowd at your local watering hole, Ess.Kaye's desire and passion to entertain is unwavering.As a newcomer to NYC in 2004, Ess.Kaye began his quest swiftly, rejoining his college group, Higher Ground in Queens. The group performed successfully throughout the city but when differences in creative vision ultimately forced the three members to go their separate ways in early 2006, Ess.Kaye looked in a new direction...Today, he is currently honing his production skills while focusing mainly on hip-hop and R&B sounds, most recently collaborating with sprouting superstar, Dennis, on his debut album, "Blame It All On Love." Ess.Kaye's eclectic sound is hard to pin familiarity to but is one of a kind in its mysterious, yet poignant ways. Sensual orchestral melodies and syncopated rhythms are the main ingredients used to evoke feeling in his work.
