EDITOR and FILM-MAKER Rodrigo Aguirre has over the last decade been making MUSIC VIDEOS, SHORT FILMS and DOCUMENTARIES.His love of film & music go hand in hand. As a child he studied music which not only enhanced his appreciation of it, but helped him see it in a more visual way. He went on to study film at school, college and then university, graduating with honours in both theory and production. He also learned to edit on 2 and 3 machine video edit suites and Steenbeck 16mm film cutting desks. This subsequently formed the basis for his rapid development as a digital video editor and film-maker, and led him to set up his own promo company, RA! PRODUCTIONS (as well as sister company OBRA; specialising in documentaries and campaign films). The aim is to link sound with image to create something you can feel, that will grab you by the throat, or just make you say 'RA! that was cool'.
