Greg’s Music Room

About Me

GREG'S MUSIC ROOM is a garage recording studio situated between Leicester and Loughborough, with easy access to the A6, A46 and M1. It is a 24 track, hardware digital recording facility based around the Akai DPS24 hard disc recorder with mixing/mastering using Adobe Audition. The studio is mainly suitable for acoustic solo artists and duos. Record a single track or an album, or simply come in and sing your song to your backing track! I hope to create a relaxed environment, where you can enjoy recording your music, even if you have never been in a studio before. You can master to CD, Minidisc, or even Cassette, (If you must!) Equipment includes Akai, Alesis, LA Audio, Zoom, Behringer, and Tascam. Microphones by Shure, AKG, Rode, Audio Technica, and Beyer. Instruments available are by Gibson, Takamine, Crafter, Yamaha, Roland, and Korg. Also available is a P.A. HIRE SERVICE which includes delivery, set-up and operation. This is a high quality, compact system using mixers from Allen & Heath and Yamaha, and with powered speakers from QSC & dB Technologies. From 350 watts to around 3K. Up to 24 channels with front of house mixing using 30M multicore. Onstage monitors with up to 4 sends. A smaller, compact system is available for presentations or foyer folk! I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
