Lana Reid

Ok, so here’s the 411 on Lana (the quick version). Born in Winston-Salem, NC on July 8, 1969. Only child and an Air Force brat which leaves me looking for change and variety from time to time. Lived in places like Japan and Europe before coming back to the United States to finish high school.

Went to college, got married (husband passed away), had a daughter, wrote a book (My Love Notes to a Black Man), started taking Chicago Steppin classes to get out the house, evolved into a promoter and event planner for Chicago Steppin events. Started a nonprofit (Rebuilding the Village Foundation) to help minorities have access to a better life.

I’m sure there’s a lot of stuff I’m leaving out, but I’m really not trying to take up too much of your time since I know you have ALL these other MySpace pages to read. At any rate, that’s a quick synopsis of Lana . . . see you around this MySpace world from time to time.
