"The Mighty Atlas" acoustic performance from CellarSessions.com ..
--------------------------------
'I first met Kill You in the Face in 1993 at the Wembley Arena in London during their first world tour. Overcoming the death of hair metal and faced with the onslaught of grunge's angsty and very plaid presence, the dashing, ultra-hip Kill You in the Face quartet took my proverbial breath away at first sight. It was only after REO Speedwagon's "Dream Weaver" stopped playing in my head that I was able to hear the band, and put the delicate chords to the Godlike figures on stage as they gracefully toiled away at strings and skins under the purple glow of stage lights. "This music is too beautiful," I remember thinking. Too beautiful, indeed.'

Kill You in the Face presents THE MIGHTY ATLAS
The Mighty Atlas is a six song ep released in the form of a toy ray-gun. Yes, a ray-gun. Each toy is hand cast and hand painted so no two are the same. The music lives on a usb drive in the handle of every ray-gun. But there's more than just music in there! You'll also find illustrations for each of the songs to help tell the story of Atlas and his shattered life. Also included is a 'making of' video.
