As a little girl I often dreamed about being a reporter. I knew that if I wanted to carve out a career as a broadcast journalist, I had to observe everything, carry a notebook and write down my thoughts, observations, and dialogue I overheard. I also realized that finding a top notch journalism school was of the utmost importance. Upon careful consideration, I decided that Grady College at the University of Georgia would provide me with the skills necessary to achieve my goals. So here I am...still in the Atlanta area finishing up my internship at CNN and working on my Ph.D..
