Beauty Queen appears on Athens club compilation album Bocca NightsXL alongside Britney Spears, Shakira and the king himself - Elvis!
Hoboken are a three-piece Glasgow-based group who combine the drama of classic vocal performers with inspired electronica to produce dark yet sizzlingly danceable electro-noir songs about love, sex and death. Formed in 2001, Hoboken released their first single, Hotel Lisboa, in July 2003, and it received rave reviews. The band’s second single, Vainglorious, followed in November. The debut album Crazy Glue was released in September 2004. Hoboken have played shows across the UK, including headline gigs at Glasgow's King Tuts and The Arches, and a 16 date UK support tour with electro legends The Human League. The band released single, Beauty Queen in 2006 distributed through Universal. It just missed the charts. The band are currently writing new material and in the meantime are picking up radio and tv coverage in Greece and Cyprus with the inclusoin of Beauty Queen on the Sony/BMG DJ compliation album Bocca NightsXL.
