About Me

First Random Thought is an acoustic project started by John D. Eldridge in 2004. In three years John has come a long way from first performances, writing more of his catchy melodies and molding his unique voice. After much request from friends and family John recorded his first 11 track demo, Unwritten Lines, which has sold well and continues to sell. John has progressed much as a musician, exploring different rhythms and style to mold his voice and guitar into a compatible mix of Indie rock. THe summer of 2007 has been a good one for FRT as John searched for dedicated members to fill out the roles of the band. Josh Barse stepped up to become a great addition to the sound and stamina of the band playing Bass guitar. Dylan was on board and will add a lot on Second guitar with songwriting skills and backup vocals. The harmony should be great. Finally, Tim Gabriel saved the summer with his quick dedication and brought a steady beat to the backdrop of FRT. He has added a lot to the sound. As the band has come together, the sound is getting louder, and the fanbase continues to grow. Booking as many shows as possible FRT hopes to put a dent in the local music scene and build experience and skill on stage. As the new members continue to mesh new songs will be written and a demo will be recorded sometime soon. We are strapping into this roller coaster ride and ready to climb. Booking and playing shows is our main priority. WE WANT TO BE HEARD! If you would like to book FRT please let us know. WE are up for a mini road trip if the fans are ready to listen.
