So, you want to know a little about almanac? There's a lot to tell and at the same time not so much. Right off the bat almanac could really use someone with PR experience to write a decent band bio.
almanac is Michael's brainchild. As of right now all the music is written, performed, and recorded by Michael. The material is musically bright and lively while the lyrics are often darker in nature. Most songs tend to be reflections on death and the nature of fear itself. The lyrics are never written beforehand and just "come out" during the recording process in reflection to the meter of the song itself. There's usually whiskey involved as well.
Currently almanac is putting the finishing touches on the first EP titled A Fire In The Valley. This EP will be available for purchase and should be out in May. There is no date set at this time.
