About Me

I really don't like talking about myself so here goes nothing. I am an army brat so I am really from nowhere. I moved thirteen times before graduating high school. I have lived in 8 states and four countries. I love to travel. I have a 6 year old daughter who shares my love of traveling and a husband of 14 years who will go anywhere I want as long as he can hunt or fish. I recently completed my first triathlon and even though my time was nothing to brag about I FINISHED IT! I am looking forward to doing another one in the fall. It was an amazing accomplishment and I learned a lot about myself that day. I now know I have the strength to push forward when every last fiber in my body is screaming to stop. I could not have done it without my family being there to cheer me on. What was amazing was the total strangers encouraging me. It confirmed my belief in the fact that we are all in this together and we better work together to make it work because we can't do it alone. It is our existence on hthis planet or any other situation you care to apply it to.

My official time was 1:53:20 so I officially finished the race in under the 2 hour time limit.
