About Me

Old Head's The Band was formed in Paterson, New Jersey by Stanley Hart and Abdullah Muhammed. The name of the band come from Abullah's wife, who happen to say. '' what are you going to call the band, the old heads?'' The reason for this was every one in the band was over 35 yrs old. They did in fact have one baby in the group who was only 25 yrs old. At time's band member's would range from 3 right up to about 10. Other player's would come and go, But the back bone and heart beat of the band kept it mov'in. Well as things can go, after about 2 year's. Stanley and Abdullah did come to across road. It would seem that they only needed some time to work thing's out, but that never came about. The bass player moved to Pa. Now one or two thing would happen. Abdullah might put another band togther under the old name, or change the name of the band to TOKE or BLACK RAIN, After all, Old Heads The Band was his thing right from the start. Abdullah is going to start producing music from his home base, Juke Joint Studio and his lable is called Northern Shine. Black Rain will be the 1st. band under this new lable. And you thought he was JUST another Bass player. XXXXXXXXXXXX MORE To COME XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
