About Me

Hi everybody! Im a 22 year old, multi instrumentalist singer/songwriter born and raised in Walsall near Birmingham. Ive been playing since I was 12 years old starting with my friends piano. I had my first guitar also when I was 12 and taught myself how to play it.Growing up my home was always alive with music. I took a liking to the blues, soul and rhythm and blues from an early age. Then I got into folk and jazz. Also I listened to modern rock/pop. I find it hard to say where I take my influences from because I have so many. Some of my favourites are Jimi Hendrix, Free/Bad company, The Eagles, Ray Charles, Stevie wonder, Fleetwood mac, Elton John, the list goes on.Also I front a band known as 'The Villains'. I love writing & performing. Im gigging all over the place at the mo in various line ups. Nothing huge at the mo but who knows, with a little bit of luck. Performing live is what I love most. Influences: Ive listened to jazz, rock, soul, folk, reggae, all sorts. I love Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Free, Stevie Wonder, Oscar Peterson, Fleetwood Mac, Latin jazz, Elton John, Little Richard, Ray Charles, The Doors, Paul Weller, Neil young, too much to say realy. At the moment im loving the Zutons, The View, Scott Mathews, Amy Winehouse, James Morrison, Paolo nutini.
