♥Doll♥ â„¢ is an idea that was born a long, long time ago from the absolute lack of original, different goth clothing, accesorising and decorating, and the subsecuent need to create something more like our particular view of gothic beauty and romantic – gloomy aesthetics we felt identified with; Can you imagine something like an old porcelain doll´s outfit, with a soft Cinema Strange´s style touch in the ragged state of corpse bride´s dress? That is the best description of our products that I was able to come up with, at least for now...
This idea was sleeping in the vault of "someday-maybe-never-projects", until by the grace of destiny and internet we arrived to miss Emilie Autumn´s site, where we saw (half relieved, half dissapointed) that the style we had in mind was already in the world by her hands. Relief soon took over dissapointment, and we decided to buy her designs... but reality once again fuc...ahem, spoiled everything for us, since the process to do so from Chile was SO complicated and expensive, that it was simply far beyond our possibilities...
A: “Oh, dear, what shall we do?”
CB: “Let´s make the clothes ourselves!”
A: “But of course! Was not that the whole idea from the very beginning?”
CB: “Indeed!... but... she did it first... wouldn´t it seem to the others as a mere copy of what she has done?”
A: “Maybe... but to be sincere, I gave up giving a sh... ajem, a damn about what others “might think” a looong time ago, darling...for we know the truth, don´t we? That should be enough ”
CB: “True. After all, if they hate us and don´t want to buy our creations, we can always keep the clothes for ourselves and have a new gorgeous outfit for every single party...not to say we will certainly look much better than the fat ugly bitc... ajem...ladies who do not like us.”
A: “As always, my dear...”
CB: “As always.”
DI: “Ladies... ”
A & CB: “Yes, love...?”
DI: “Let´s get to work, SHALL WE?”
A & CB: (Sigh)”But we ARE working, dear...”
INFORMATION OF THE GREATEST IMPORTANCE BEFORE YOU GO ON:As written above, we recycle beauty. The things we make are not made from new materials, but from old dresses, antique dolls and all that can be used in order to achieve the nostalgic, ghostly and even moth - eaten look we pursue. We want our outfits not only to look alike an old one... we want it to BE one, with its own history, and faded color, made of ancient cloths that are not to be fabricated anymore.
I must declare now that every item we create is UNIQUE, and it won´t be repeated.
We may very well choose not to sell certain items if we happen to grow fond of them, EVEN if they are shown here. Yes, we do want to sell... but above all, the deepest and most important aim of it all is to show our vision of beauty and get in touch with the ones who share it, breathe it and can´t live without it among this unsightly, plain, ill-favoured world we are unluckily forced to face every day...

Thank you very much for your extremely indulgent understanding... we may sometimes seem to be rather insane... but then again, if to be sane means being what most of the "others" call to be "normal", we are infinitely happy and proud to be lunatics! ♥♥♥
