Way back, in the summer of 2006 Thomas Pedesk (guitar), Mads Leonard Jensen (drums) & Simon Stenger (bass) formed the band "Feed Us Stray Cats", but after a while the band got tired of playing covers without a singer, so in September '06 Thomas got in touch with one of his friends, Joakim Mattsson, and asked him if he was interested in joining the band.
Joakim was into the idea & with a new band member came a new band name...
Fanatics was born and they set out to play fast and deadly horrorpunk!
But late one night in February '08, after winning the Kløften Contest, the band and Simon's girlfriend, Tamara, left the venue "Månen" by car with the stereo blazing and the adrenaline still pumping through their veins, to get home to celebrate.
When a black cat crossed the road, driver and frontman Joakim stood on the brakes to avoid hitting it. He lost control of the vehicle and drove it straight into a tree, wrecking it and sending the band and their friend flying through the air.
When the ambulance arrived there was nothing the paramedics could do -
The four musicians and their friend had died instantly, colliding head-first with the asphalt!
Later that same night at the morgue of the local hospital a mad scientist got his hands on their mutilated corpses and re-animated them using a mysterious luminous green liquid. Minutes after, the four band members came back to life! They mutilated and killed the scientist and everyone else in the morgue in a demonic killing-spree
- it was a complete massacre!
Blood, guts, limbs and what-not were torn to pieces, painting the floor and walls deep red.
Now, the band is back with a vengeance and fully transformed into the fiendish foursome, known only as Fanatics!!
They roam the night, gathering a following, an army of the undead, to take over the danish underground music scene!
