Platform 12 Promotions is an independent promotion company focused on helping dedicated, talented artists succeed & reach a wider audience by distributing press releases and promoting to podcasts, magazines, and internet radio. Platform 12 creates packages individual to the artists rather than general campaigns that end up costing the artist but not helping them. The current roster is Inner Surge, Post Death Soundtrack, the Blackest Feather, Johnny Incognito and Free Form. While the music is eclectic and different, it has a common theme. Inner Surge is a politically charged metal, hardcore & punk act from Calgary that has received top reviews for it's recently released full length CD "Signals Screaming"(released through Cyclone Records), and has been likened to Rage against the Machine, Refused and Tool. They will be on the 2007 movie soundtrack for horror film "Cabras", directed by Fredy Polania. They are also set to be featured on the film soundtracks for Macabro Films movie "Amok!" and the Paladin Pictures film "Rebellion of Thought". Inner Surge played Warped Tour 2006 at Race City Speedway and is also featured in the book "New Wave of American Heavy Metal". Post Death Soundtrack is a dark industrial and experimental project formed by Ken Buck & Steve Moore. The project is influenced by the likes of Skinny Puppy and Radiohead.
