In 2006 our guitarist Kevin Storm decided to leave the band due to personal reasons and quickly we were out looking for a replacement. A talented and energetic soul was found in Jurjen van der Poel who is now a close friend and indispensable member of the band. Now that 2007 has come round Soulstitia has finally completed her first full length concept-album called PsYche.
In may 2007 our male singer Ivo van der Graaff left the band chasing his dreams in Austin, Texas. Later on that year Bram Verhelle decided to quit the band due to personal reasons. After that John van Tol, our guitar player from the start decided to grab the bass.Soulstitia’s musical background is one of energetic and captivating live-shows. Among the live highlights of the band were shows at the Ekko (Utrecht), Chipolata (Houten), de Peppel (Zeist) with To Elysium and Whispering Gallery, OJC Walhalla (Sevenum) with Autumn and the Music Against Cancer Festival 2006 in the Melkweg (Amsterdam with Trail of Tears, Autumn and Nemesea).
Building a strong live reputation and writing new songs are currently the main forces driving the band into its musical future.
Six tracks of the 2007 album PsYche can be found in the songs section.
