Robotek was spearheaded in 1993 by Mathmatics, to form a super human Hip Hop crew based in the Newcastle, Australia, area.First recruit was B-Boy Swipa and together with a motley crew of, writers, emcee's, turntablist's, producers, beatboxer's, and of course Breakdancer's, went on to swell the current ranks to about 20 members that rep the name!.Most members are proficient in more than one element of Hip Hop, ie can not only B-Boy but also Dj and or beatbox etc etc, and have performed not only all over Australia but internationally as well.Over time we have had the opportunity to perform alongside of hundreds of different artists such as - Kool Dj Herc, 1200 Techniques, Run DMC, Rock Steady Crew, Def Wish Cast plus loads more ( For a fuller list, check the blogs under HISTORY & Performances )In the mid 90's we were fortunate enough to join forces with A.U.S.T 's godfathers Def Wish & Serek to form a Sydney based B-Boy Crew titled "Ground Assault" and got on to knockin suckers heads off with real O.G. B-Boy flavour. At this time we also toured with the KillaWattz crew (Die-C, Def Wish & Dj Vame).All members are well versed in the knowledge and history of the amazing art form that we call Hip Hop and continually promote the original essence of "PEACE!, UNITY!, LOVE and HAVING FUN!" (Afrika Baambaataa). We also believe in letting all aspects of the art shine equally, and do not discriminate over the validity of whether the music is Ol Skool, Miami Bass, Crunk, Underground, Afrocentric,Gangsta, Aussie, Soulful, New Skool drivin etc.Although we dont ever claim to be the baddest crew around , we always just enjoy GETTING DOWN!.......................................................

In 2007 Deejay Mathmatics hooked up with Dope Sydney rapper - Scott Burns & began a musical partnership that has seen us perform Scotts original work all over Australia, collaborated in recording his debut album ( released real soon....) perform alongside top notch artists such as - Lazy Grey, Jehst (U.K.) , Brother Ali (U.S.A) , Akrobatik (U.S.A.) , A-Love, Axe Aklins and heaps more.
