Coloured by the swedish folk music traditions, and with a deep fascination for melodies in general I add my own touch to the music. I started out playing the fiddle as a kid, but switched to plucked instruments in my early teenages. I begun playing the guitar and later on the mandola, but while studying swedish folk music at the conservatory of music in falun I found a new voice in my teacher's (Totte Mattsson, hedningarna) instrument, the lute. Some years later I now study for a bachelor degree in swedish folk music at the royal college of music in stockholm, with the guitarist Roger Tallroth (väsen) as my main brain twister.
