Hi! My name is Coconut and I am a small dwarf hamster. I am a little over 2 years old. My story starts out when my original owner brought my real hamster mom home from the pet store - only to find out she was pregnant! So, I was born and I was adopted after many of my brothers and sisters died in a tragic accident (they jumped out of their cage). My original owner decided that hamsters were not for him (since we multiply so quickly) so he gave me up.
*Update* Hi! This is Coconut's owner. Unfortunately, Coconut passed away in his sleep the second week of April. He was nearly two and a half years old, so he was pretty old for a hamster. Throughout his life, he survived moving several times and very long car rides. Eventually I'll get another hamster, just not right now.
