I'm Jon & I'm a Drummer originally from Sydney, Now Living and playing on the Sunshine Coast in Qld. I have been playing Drums since I was 13. I started off playing in my school's Orchestra Band, the school Jazz Band and also a Beatles cover band lol!
After School I started playing with Several Rock Outfits, and we hit the Sydney Scene pretty hard. Over the next 5 Years I played well over 300 shows with different bands. I also spent a good amount of time in the Studio Recording several Demo's and EP's.
I Played with some Brilliant Musicians including Cameron Jones, Jeremy Wood & Andre Gabrielian,just to name a few.
Moving to Qld and a young family Contributed to me having a 3 year break from playing. I am now officially back in the saddle and after playing and recording with Local Rock Act Enersha for over a year, I am now involved in a Coast based Covers band and various side projects.
I am a consummate professional who can bring what ever sound is required to a recording. I am self motivated and have trained hard to ensure solid grooves and even sticking to ensure a quality and efficient recording style.
I specialize in Rock Drumming, but also enjoy playing metal, funk, pop, blues & fusion. I am very comfortable playing with a click track which is essential for any studio drummer.
I Use and Fully Endorse Tama Drums, Sabian Cymbals & Promark Sticks.
