Engineer Rob Newton started his career in music as the bass guitarist in local rock and country bands at the age of 16. He continued playing and moved to Orlando, FL where he graduated from A.R.T.I. (Audio Recording Technological Institute) and worked in several studios there. After returning to the River Valley, he worked at Caravell Studios in Branson, MO before starting Newsound Recording.
