Im thirty-one, but i don't feel that old. Half the time i feel eighteen, the other half I feel a hundred. Having said that, here is my bio from the eyes of a hundred year old man. I was born along the gulf coast of Mississippi in the Singing River Hospital. 31 years later i would write a song about it. I was raised along the same stretch of sand that Jimmy Buffett walked in as a kid and played in the bayous and woods of south Mississippi. Depending on what day it was, i was either a pirate, a cowboy or a soldier. Some would argue that not much has changed. I got older and started wearing cowboy boots and sperry topsiders......only when going barefoot was too hazardous. I bought a cheap guitar in 2005 and learned a few chords. I also started putting lyrics to them. Things were going pretty well until Hurricane Katrina washed ashore. Althought that storm took away the roof of my apartment building and ruined a lot of my stuff, it left in its wake my inspiration to be a songwriter. My music has been described as "gulf-western americana folk country." I am not really sure what that means, but it think it sounds pretty cool and would probably look good on a tshirt. I play locally at different venues and love to travel to others. I am a member of NSAI, BMI, ASCAP, TAXI and the Americana Music Association.
