I love music. I love to write music, I love to sing. I also love to talk with friends in my favorite café’s when there’s rain or snow outside. I love to talk about life, politics, animals, people. I enjoy playing my piano on Sunday mornings, right after having a huge breakfast for a longest of time, while reading. I really love to read. I’m addicted to tea, all sorts of it, but one of my favorites is to drink black tea with a splash of milk. I like carrying an umbrella in my bag every day in case it starts to rain, because I believe that it actually prevents the raining. I constantly get little tiny holes on my socks and stockings, which I think might be a conspiracy from the clothing companies to make us buy more socks and stockings. I must eat chips at least once a week. I used to push myself too hard to do many things at once, but I’m working hard on not working so hard. I love nice people. I love honesty. I get annoyed by the fact that I don’t have time to get a dog. If I would have time to get a dog, it would probably be a pug. But enough about me. I also happen to play with some wonderful people, that I’m gonna present here.
Mikael Karlsson
Guitarman Extraordinaire. We’ve played together for many years. Enjoys good food and nice wine. He’s the comic relief in the car when we drive to our gigs. He’s not afraid to try out new deserts. He always plays the right kind of chords when we test new songs. He drinks a lot of coffee. He once accidentally turned off the power switch when we were recording a song. We’ve not let him forget that ever since.
Jonatan Tjäder
Bass player with a capitol B. We’ve also played together for many years. A bit shy, loves cats and eats a lot of Polly (Swedish candy). He’s mostly in charge of music in the car on the way to our gigs. He recently took his drivers’ license. He has a funny beard, which he often plays around with by stroking it with his fingers. He should be sponsored by Converse shoes, ‘cause he always wears them. He is always enthusiastic about hotel breakfast.
John Bergstrand
Drummer wiz, with some mean percussion skills. He’s the calm type of fella, enjoys reading “Modern Drummer†when we’re on the way to our gigs – not lending it to anyone else. He shares my passion for chips, and introduced all of us to the pepper-flavored ones. We’ve played together for more than a year now, although it feels like longer than that. He yearns for a drum solo, although I usually say that he can keep on dreaming. He loves jazz. We once gut stuck in an elevator, ‘cause his backpack had gotten entangled up the elevator door. That was creepy.
Rutger
Also known as Korg D888. He is a small, friendly machine, that contains all of the things we're not able to play live, such as violin and pad-tracks. He's a good guy with a sense for adventure, although he can sometimes be a bit whiny. He mostly prefers to spend time with John (who manages him on stage), when he is not cruizing for other portable 8-tracks. He doesn't seem to like me much. As I am the one actually creating the backtracks, I find myself often cursing him and calling him names. Most of the times, however, he is a good addition to the band.
