About Me

I'm a 30 year old photographer posing as a waitress who just quit smoking a week ago. I'm terrible at writing bios, but pretty good at writing memoirs and self-indulgent poetry. Or at least I used to be, but I dont write much anymore. I think I've hit that pre-midlife crisis where one wonders why they've only gotten so far and if they'll ever get any further.I've lived in Texas pretty much my whole life. Except for a semester of studying in Italy and a year-long stint in Portland, Oregon, where I was gainfully unemployed for 9 of my 12 months there. However, I took a ton of photos and wrote a ton of poetry, which is why it was gainful. I call that my year of forced self-exploration.This is my year of reckoning and resolution. (and no, I haven't named all my 30 years.) I started it by quitting smoking. My next goal is to quit waiting tables. We'll see if that happens. I want to save money, start my own photo biz, and buy a house. By this time next year, hopefully I'll be on my way to all three. But first I'm off to Europe for 3 weeks at the end of May. Yay!This thing doesn't allow paragraphs.
