A Nightmare of Noise formed in late 2006 after the split of the friday night incident.
It has taken a while to find a full-time drummer, but finally we found the wonder that is daniel stevens.
However, Daniel decided that he was not quite suited to the band and had too much going on in his life and quit mid August (2007) so we re-recruited our old faithful friend Scott Downie.At the end of August 2007 we recruited Carly Jenkins as our new guitarist intending to put more volume into the songs.
So six months passed and the band began to move to a heavier more anthemic sound with powerhouse drums and Iain realising further potential guitar wise through his side project. A change was expected.
But it wasn't expected to be THAT good.
However, as they say, all good things must come to an end and the band waved farewell as lesley was forced to leave due to her overbooked busy schedule leaving the band bassist-less.So after a few gigs where it was mostly background noise to Iain (at least) trhey sought out to find the next member of their band.And lo and behold, one drunken evening, Jamie was found.So with the added "Grr" factor, the band were back up to their heavy pounding antics with a refreshed sound and that sound that you all found incredible.However, there was still no peace in the forseeable future. With Jamie added there were now three guitarists of which only one had a hope of playing bass but when asked, Carly didn't feel comfortable with the instrument and the band saw another parting of ways.But once again, there was more drinking, there were more people and Andy was found (another guitarist who owned a bass) and after short negotiations and throwing him in at the deep end, the band found their new bassist.
