Funkeluya djs (3mv) was born in 2006 by the hand of Salvation & JaviF!, a couple of deejays from Valencia (Spain), who decided to combine their expectations in a joint project. Their sessions are a good way to understand the black music, and in their sets they show a very eclectic sound that go from funk to hiphop, going through soul, bebop or latinjazz, without forgetting some infarct classic. With a wide background on both sides, their sets varies depending on the place and time, but always with the premise that people enjoy in the dancefloor. With 18 years he moved to Valencia, where he lives since then. His passion by electronic music begins in summer 1994 in Spain, where he used to come every year from holiday. Years later this liking would become a complete dedication to the dance music, developing sessions in clubs, festivals... In 2001 he begins to work in Love Sonico, a record shop and also a distribution company of US dance music. In 2003 he begins to work in 3mv’s (www.disc-unit.com), a record shop and distribution company, specialized in all type of dance music, importing vinyls from Europe and USA. At the moment he co-directs the distribution and he is in charge of the distribution and the catalogue selection. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ JaviF! -He is born in Valencia in 1972, and from very young age he takes as a hobby to spend its free time (and the not so free) among records, guitars and speakers. In the 90’s he participates in some projects as guitarist and composer. With a very wide and eclectic taste, in his collection is possible to be found from reggae to hiphop, going through jazz or bossa, but it is funk music that make him to change or alternate the guitar with turntables. After attending a sound higher technician course, he begins to work as technician in local events and music shows. He alternates it with sessions as deejay. At the moment he works in postproduction of audio that he makes in his home-studio, and he also collaborates in several productions for 3mv (www.disc-unit.com).
