'The Denis Colin Trio' is who I travel to Europe with several times a year since 2002. We released our first CD 'Songs For Swans' together in Paris, Fr. March 2006. We are performing festivals under the heading, 'The Denis Colin Trio presents Gwen Matthews' I am in love with our unique sound and our line up of musicians. We are bridging together my Funky Soul Jazz Vibe vocals with a trio of Bass clarinet Denis Colin, Cello Dietier Peitiet and Zarb the unique drum sounds of Pableo Queceo. I love the challenge of this accoustic music and me. France and America coming together it very slick and very me. The guys are from Paris and tho I was born in Chicago, I am from Minneapolis. They are all Minnesota's finest and my favorite 'dreamy people'. They are musicians I hand picked for their greatness inside and out.
