It's been a long time coming but at last Jones is on myspace. Here comes the back story.
What can I say? This hill is a hard one to climb, but I can safely say I have started my journey, as I present to you my music, my thought, my feelings ...ME!!
I..ve been singing forever, I..ve been singing WELL, for not as long..about 3years!! I live and breathe it .. even Sundays aren..t the same anymore .. I..m not content with sitting down watching Sex and the City all day, I've gotta be doing something towards my game.
People have called my music soul with a funk twist... but to be honest I'm still trying to work out what it is, its hard to define... but one thing I do know is that it is MINE, and I love it!!
I knew I was serious about the music when I decided to invest £?,ooo into my talent. I did a course at Vocal Tech and apart from other things, that put me in touch with a lot of the people I work with today. For that, I am thankful. My solo project is a new venture but I have been backing singing for three up and coming bands since early last year. IZIT-U, Alena Herel and more recently Summer Holiday. If you know any or all of these band's you'll realise how different they are from each other which goes to show how versatile I am. (if I do say so myself!!) I am inspired daily by them all, they help make my music what it is. Gotta credit Big G, Sam G and Matt for playing on my demo. These musicians are tight and their help is very much appreciated!!
Looking forward to getting out there and gigging as a solo artist.
