Lowtown Productions was founded in 1999 by three kids hell bent on competing with the big boys - creating cutting edge beats and dirty basslines.
Shame their equipment was so shit.
After scrimping and saving their dole money and putting together £80 a week they eventually started to cobble together a recording setup and before they knew it Lowtown had a studio.
It was just a matter of time before Lowtown were auditioning singers to take on the world.
in a matter of days - ok more like 8 years, those scruffy, wide eyed boys have created
a dynasty - a major record deal with Universal, countless remixes for the likes of Neptunes and Lil Kim, the crazy fools even signed off income support....
Lowtown Media group, consisting of Lowtown Productions, Lowtown Records and Lowtown design, are building a reputation - signing new vibrant artists, creating stunning
websites and commisioned artwork, whilst continuing to create the dirty bass and cutting riddims that drove them to switch off their Sega Megadrives and
get their asses off the sofa in the first place.
