L.A. is a sparkling new songwriter with great energy, a positive heart, great looks and a cool name - well, he's got a bit more attitude than Tom Cruise, which just says banal to me. L.A. is unique with an interesting perspective which offers a rare emotional connecting you with intensity through his gripping lyrical bite and heartfelt melody. His debut album 'Movie Star Tactics' is the creative consequence of inquiring imagination. His songs examine and explore every emotion in your body. They're much more then kitchen table songs, its like having a conversation with an expert in human love. This lo-fi, visceral, boot-wielding approach was inspired by lone homeless nights in the streets of Los Angeles, California. "On the whole, I'm a positive, skippity-la-la person but I love the dark side of music and I will always want to explore that. It's a positive-sounding album but there's stuff underneath for sure that will channel your infectious energies into a new horizon. I'm not exactly sure what has driven me so hard, but all I do know is that I love music. I've never questioned it. I've never had a back-up plan. I was never going to do anything else.
