NAMBE EPEE

BIOGRAPHY. He was born and raised in Douala, Cameroon. He creates his first group "Mbeatowe" in 1994. He occurs on the musical Cameroonian scene as leader and sideman. Then he integrates another group "Kawtal". In 1998, he arrives in France, he studies the music to the University Paris 8 Saint Denis and to the Conservatoire. He frequents simultaneously the Parisian cabarets and occurs there with his reconstituted group "Nambe Epee 4tet". He's seen in, then behind some groups and musicians: Pierre Thiollet 5tet, NBGA 4tet, Benkadi, Gerda Yacinthe, Zoïa Zarzewsky, Magga, Garmi Fall Orchestra among others... He's now in the head of his new group "N.E.G" (NAMBE EPEE Group) in preparation of his album.
