Band Members:
Colin Spring plays solo and with a band called the Naugahyde Nights which most often is a duo guitar/harmonica and drum act.
As a general rule Washington state shows are with the drummer known as IT. He is the Neil Peart of the train beat. His profile is listed in my top 8 and he has played in several fantastic Seattle area bands over the years.
Oregon shows generally include Nate "And His Taut Four Skins" Fridena, a Portland local who has also kept time for a legendary list of incredible acts.
In the past we have rotated through some fine musicians depending on the variables but most recently.
"Hell Might As Well" Denell Graham-accordion/vocals
Adam Mack "Attack"-Drums
Chris "And His Small But Powerful Organ" Hess
Bill "Lonesome Dewey" Miller
"How I Came To Cry These Tears Of Cool" was the most recent release. It was recorded with Johnny Sangster and featured amongst others Mark Pickerel of the Screaming Trees, Jim Sangster of the Young Fresh Fellows, Carla Torgerson of the Walkabouts, Anne Marie Ruljancich of Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter and the Artis The Spoonman.
Colin and/or band have opened for the likes of Curt Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets' John Doe of X, Pat MacDonald (Timbuk 3), Devil Makes 3, Fred Eaglesmith, Greg Brown, Chris Smither and on and on......
