Ides of May Started out as a Solo project by Chris. Through the last 4 and a half years the band has gone through 3 Drummers, 2 Bassists, and is on the 3rd and final name because one finally fits the music right. Through the entire thing there have been full bands and also just Chris playing solo. The first drummer to help start it all off was Konner. Konner and Chris found out about each other through a local musician exchange and ended up playing together in the summer of 2004-2005 under the name Antwannett. It lasted about 6 months but never did find a bassist that fit the style. During Chris's Sophmore year well playing shows solo he found a Drummer by the name of Kyler. Kyler and Chris met in Biology Class the beginning of the second semester when Kyler Transfered from a different school to Clearfield High. From the summer of 2006 through the beginning of 2007 Kyler Was the drummer, but the name that was played under was Stop the Maskerade, along with having a short lived bassist named Marcus. Stop the Maskerade played some big shows, not excluding a festifval called The Next Big Thing that was played on March 3rd at In the Venue in Salt Lake City.
