About Me

Lunar Musik formed around 1990, utilising the space that is known as Rehab Studio, most early songs were created by taping the D key down and distorting the controls "the lunar musik midi circus". Over the years we have collected various amounts of gear from vintage keys to rack keyboards. But the soundscapes changed dramatically when we discovered Cubase. and sequencing, our songs have become more structured and listenable. there is still a large amount of live instruments involved within Lunar Musik mainly bass and glissando guitar. An accumilation of songs resulted in an Lp x2 released on Skuld Records, under the title of "Mixes for Eclipses" a good blend of ambient ,reggae and dub.

Influences: We take influences from all around us, the things we see and do, most of our songs are created from samples from film dialogue and then they progress into soundscapes.King Willy gives us much insperation when it comes to technofear. One small step for Man...my ass!
