Weapons Grade started when Craig ran into Mike at a Municipal Waste show after not seeing each other for about 15 years or so. Tony's band had just split up and we talked about playing music. John moved back to Boston and we talked about playing music and then we all started practicing once a week. We played one show with La Piovra on December 17th and it went well. Sadly, Tony had to part ways with us and then we made friends with the excellent Fast Eddy. Eddy played a few shows with us and became our true brother-in-arms and now Eddy has left the fold and now we welcome Zack as our new bassist. In the midst of it all Johnny, Mikey and myself recorded 7 songs in Mikes basement studio conveniently located in his parents attic in Saugas, MA. We have played a few good shows with Vitamin X, Libyans, Deathamphetamine and Sunpower recently. We have passed out about 200 demos to anyone who was interested in getting a copy and we have received a great response. We are currently writing new songs and they are sounding pretty good to our ears. We have a bunch of shows coming up with some great bands such as Blastmat, Swollen, Waste Management, Red Thread, The State and Kid Romance etc... We would love to play all sorts of shows. We are not genre or scene specific. We don't care about the scene or who is cool or who thinks who is cool. We only wish to play and make noise and express ourselves. We wish raw punk greetings to all punx and good people in every corner of the world and our cities as well.
