I’m a 29 year old work in progress! I believe in honesty. I hate people that write a bunch of happy go lucky shit in this section. Life is deeper than that. I’m much more interested in hearing someone speak the TRUTH. For example, I’m a bit narcissist, sometimes lazy, my car is often messy and I’d rather text people than speak to them on the phone.
But I’m also a good friend. I love making people laugh and truthfully, sometimes exaggerate character traits in order to get the BIG laugh.
I’m a bit complex. One minute I’m shy and introverted, the next I’m Mr. Space Cadet who isn’t afraid of anything. Yes, a bit bipolar but not diagnosed that way – YET. ;-) The past few years have been…um, interesting. I’m the classic Had Everything/Lost Everything/Gained It All Back story. It would make a good TV movie of the week. Seriously. Joey Lawrence could be the star. He looks just like me. Shaved head, buff body! I’m talking serious clone! If you believe that, you’re more NAÃVE than me! :-0
I’ve done some cool things. I’ve interviewed famous people, been published in a magazine, and was a publicist to a motivational speaker. All of it was cool but I found that in order to enjoy it, you need to love and accept yourself first. What a concept. The last few years have been all about learning how to do that. Thank God I am succeeding. It's amazing how the universe opens up when you start taking care of yourself. Once the basics are taken care of, there is room to give to others.
Right now I'm working in the last place I thought I'd end up--the Accounts Payable department at Tractor Supply Support Center in Brentwood, TN. It's a great company to work for and they pay a portion of college tuition. Thank you Leigh for telling me about the opening!
I intend to go back to school. It's taken me longer than I thought to get there but I'm on my way. ;-) I believe the future holds something for me as a Life Coach/Author/Speaker. I truly believe I was put on this Earth to inspire others. I've been through some hard knocks and know a thing or two about survival. As my favorite diva Wynonna says, "I'm not where I want to be yet but I'm sure as heck not where I was!" As the chaos clears and I learn the power of focus, I look forward to seeing what the future holds!
