About Me
I was born and raised in tiny Clatskanie, OR, then went to college at Linfield in McMinnville, where I got my accounting degree. I moved to Prescott, AZ for 2 years, working for a small accounting firm, then I moved back to the NW - Seattle, to be exact. I did accounting for several companies (VacationSpot.com, Expedia, Beyond360, X-10) over the next 6 years. I met my husband, Andrew, in 2000, through mutual friends in Seattle. He's a software engineer from Toronto, and he was ready to leave Microsoft, I was ready to leave Seattle, so we decided to move to Hood River in 2002. Andrew works at a company called Insitu, Inc. which makes unmanned air vehicles (UAV's) primarily for the military. I used to work there too, but now I am at home with our 2 babies - Claire born 4/2006 and Ethan born 8/2007. We love our lives here in Hood River and spend our free time going out to dinners with friends, snowboarding, hiking, biking and making smores in the firepit in our backyard.
