My name is Chakaa and I'm an Olde English Bulldogge. I was rescued, I was seconds away from being put to sleep. My mom was at the vet and overheard this lady talking to the receptionist about me. She said that I had bad knees and had to be put down. My mom told her not to put me down and said that she would give me a home. The vet even offered to do the surgery on both my knees for free, so that she wouldn't put me down. The lady was so happy the vet would do this and decided to give me to my mom! I just had my first knee surgery on Jan. 18th. In a couple of weeks, I have to go back to the vet for my second knee surgery and then to get spayed. I can't wait till I'm all better and able to play with my new family!
