Antonio Bello

Antonio Bello was born in San Antonio de los Altos, Edo. Miranda, Venezuela in 1970. He started to play guitar in the early 80’s under the influence of heavy metal and hard rock. At the same time, he began to study classical guitar and music theory. At the end of the 80’s he formed his first original rock band called “Fuerza Sublime” (1990-1992) composing his own music in the neoclassic rock style. In 1993 he began to play with well-known cover-bands such as "Tres en Uno" (1993, 1994), Express (1995-1997) with Alexis Peña (ex-Tempano Poster, Resistencia ) " and "Pretexto’s" (1997-1999), Midnigth Blues (1998), Soto Blues Band(1999) in Caracas and other cities of Venezuela. His music has changed and shows the different phases of his musical life: rock, blues, jazz and fusion. He realized several projects of jazz and fusion with keyboard player Hector DiDonna. Studied jazz guitar with Gonzalo Mico (1995-1997). Now, he incorporates rock and jazz elements with a special preference to blues. He's been invited to take part of blues and jazz festivals in Caracas. In 1999 he moved to Aruba. In the last seven years since 1999, he is playing in Aruba with "Crystal Breeze Band" like house band at Hyatt Regency Aruba (2000-2005)(2006- 'till now), "The 4 of Us unplugged band" (2001) and lately, his band “Antonio Bello Blues”, invited by Aruba Jazz Club to play at Café Chaos as part of their regular programming, In 2004 like open act to the band Chicago in the Aruba Music Fest. Antonio Bello Blues Band have two CDs “Wanted” 2003 live and “Bumble Bee’s Boogie” 2005. In 2004 he formed a duo "vocal&acoustic guitar" called Blue Strings in 2006 was released a first CD with Blue Strings called " First Journey" now are playing regulary once or twice in a week with Blue Strings.In 2005, 2006 & 2007 was called to join the Sparkling Tour Band. In 2006 was invited to do a workshop in Blues at I.U.D.E.M in Caracas. In Feb 2007 was invited to do a workshop in Blues at Doppler Producciones in Los Teques/Miranda Venezuela, in August 2007 Antonio Bello Blues Band was playing at the 1st edition of Caribbean Sea Jazz Fest. In 2008 he is playing in a regulary programing with a different bands in Aruba's music scene. Antonio Bello,now is professional musician full time, he lives involve in music. He plays with different bands and artists, underground and well-knowns, jingles and like guitar session recording for some albums. From his «solo project» Antonio Bello Blues Band.
