Cooper, 24 years of age, born and raised in Wollongong, has been following the hard dance scene since 2000 and has been producing and Dj'ing for several years. His love of hard dance came from the Sydney & Wollongong rave scenes and was inspired by the likes of Impact, Steve Hill, S3RL, Luna C, K Komplex, Kevin Energy, Sharkey, A.M.S, Arkitech, Eryk Orpheus, Lost Soul, Two's Company, Gammer, Stompy, Brisk, Re Con, Weaver, Electrix, Haze, Antix, all the local dj's & promoters, and good friends illFX.
In early 2007 Cooper teamed up with close friend DJ Sanchez, forming the Hard Trance duo Above. After hitting the studios over three successive months they recorded their first three tracks 'Higher, 'The One', and the remix of Pacific Link's 'Stella'. During 2007 they played alongside, and had their tracks played by some of the biggest names in Hard Dance including Steve Hill, Luca Antolini, Dark By Design, Andy Farley and the hottest DJ's that Sydney has to offer. In late 2007 DJ Sanchez moved to the UK to continue promoting Above and to form a solid fan base for the duo. Above have played at MASIF Sydney as part of the MASIF Hard Trance Anthems Tour and have regular sets in the UK playing out their hard and driving sound that gets the crowds rocking!
Most recently Above have released 'The One' on Presence Hard Dance and it's now available @ TRACKITDOWN.NET . Above have also recently worked in the studio with Dark by Design and Ajay on their latest track 'Synchronisation' which is being released on vinyl next month on Diablotraxx. The B side for the 'Synchronisation' vinyl will be the highly anticipated release of 'Higher'.

At the same time Cooper has continued to work on his hard edge melodic Freeform sound, hitting the studio with DJ Impact and releasing his first track 'Acid is my Sound' which is out now on Nu Energy Digital available @ HARDBEATSTORE.COM
His latest track, a hardcore remix of Above's 'Higher' has just been signed to Nu Energy and is available now from HARDBEATSTORE.COM . Stay tuned for more info.
2008 is set to be a big year for Cooper with several tracks, both Freeform and Hard Trance currently being engineered. Cooper continues to develop his unique driving and uplifting sound while interest is being drummed up in Australia, the UK and around the globe.
