Stephen Michael Moore

Indiana native and long-time Alaska resident STEPHEN MICHAEL MOORE has been playing music since he picked up his older brother's guitar at the age of twelve. But he has always had an enduring passion for all things musical since rummaging through his parents record collection as a youngster. SMM has played gutiar and bass in numerous garage and club bands in Fairbanks,AK, as well as accoustically in Northern California; he has played guitarwith Goongrass afficianados THE THEENDS and bass in roots music combo NEW CUT ROAD in Fairbanks. SMM has recorded work at Tenth Planet Studios (courtesy of Pat Fitzgerald) with two previous bands: EL TRIO CON CARNE (featuring Robert Irving and Tim Cagel of STOV fame/later, SAUCERHEAD); and STICKY F AND THE RIGHTEOUS GROOVE (featuring Steve "Sticky" Frith, John Kohler, and Jim Vogt), who opened for Floggin' Molly and the Young Dubliners at The Blue Loon in Fairbanks. SMM has also appeared with MARC BROWN AND THE BLUES CREW (playing bass). SMM continues to record in his home studio, using Digidesign's Mbox interface and Pro Tools software.
