I have traveled to Italy, Germany, Austria and lived in London, England for 6 months. I came to the realization a few years ago that nothing is impossible and to take advantage of life. I moved to California February 2005 from Western Massachusettes and am loving it. We moved to be close to the beach and get away from the blizzards and below freezing temperatures. My main passion is my work. I graduated with a Bachelor in Social Work and have just started my Masters in Social Work. I love working with people that may not have the means to advocate for themselves whether they are children or adults. Right now I'm still settling into my career and home and heading to the beach whenever I can!I scored a 73% on the "How Holyoke are you?" Quizie! My Interests

I love hanging out with my friends and family and having good times...

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet Dave Pelzer. He wrote a trilogy about his life as a foster child and survivor of some to the most traumatic and horrific child abuse. I would love to hear his story in person and thank him all the hard work he does with the foster children system.

Music:

I have such random music taste. In my cd changer right now is Duran Duran, Scissor Sisters, Keith Sweat greatest hits, Splendor, and the Bee Gees. Some of my favorite bands are by far on top: Rage Against the Machine!!! Bon Jovi (I still love dear sweet Jon); anything from the 80's and disco. Right now I'm obssessed with 30 Seconds to Mars!!!

Movies:

Favorite movie of all time: When Harry met Sally!! I've seen it too many times to count. Up in my top slot is Superman I, & II (I like III and IV also)From there in no special order: St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink (basically anything John Hughs related), Sound of Music, and I pretend to really enjoy war movies :)

Television:

I am a reality tv junkie!!! I cannot get enough of it. It gives me an outlet to the real "reality" of life. Other than that - Friends, Seinfeld, Alias and some others I would never admit to the general public... lets just say it would have a zip code in the title!!!

Books:

The last book I read was "A child called it". Its really good but very depressing. Before that a book about domestic violence. My profession is my interest...

Heroes:

My sister Tessa. Even though she's not fighting in Iraq anylonger, I still admire the courage and strength it takes to do what she had to do!
