"Remember at school all the girls fancied the captain of the football team, or whoever was quickest at 100m sprint? Well I was crap at both"Danny Blunt first made his name way back in the early days of ukg. From an early age he was obsessed with electronic dance music. First influences were dj's such as Slipmatt, Hype, GrooveriderIt wasn't long before house music was Danny's life, particularly garage.
After walking into the office of a local club and forcing his "tape" onto the promoter, he was instantly booked as rotational resident for Cultural Vibes @ Zero6. Within months he was an established name, playing alongside the top players, in the top clubs, for the top promoters.Danny soon grew out of the garage sound, and in 2002 re-emerged on the house scene. Again it didn't take long for him to make a name for himself, playing the big London clubs, The Cross, Turnmills, Pacha and many more. Here he also landed his residency with Tutti Frutti, at the infamous Opium Lounge, Essex. During this time he also played for Roast, Fever, Glitterati and AList. In 2005 Danny got his first play for Dirty, Londons biggest funky house night, alongside London legends, the Soul Avengerz. during this stint Dirty took him to play clubs in Marbella and Ibiza. No sooner than he'd found success, he again changed his sound. During a 2004 holiday to Ibiza, he had heard this different house sound, more digital, more gritty. Electro had come back with a vengeance and took him with it.As his taste grew and changed, he found himself travelling more and more into the world of techno. After spending most of the last year working on his "BIPOLAR" production material, alongside co-producer Bradley Acton, Danny is now getting back out where he belongs, in the clubs, giving people his interpretation of what this ever evolving music is.He now boasts a residency at AUDIO CHIC (voted in top 5 south east club nights, IDJ mag) recent signings to HYPE MUZIK, VOLUME RECORDS and INFLUENTIAL HOUSE, regular plays all over london, including the infamous PUBLIC LIFE, and plays alongside some of house and techno's biggest names, to include Stephan Bodzin, Phil Kieran, Robert Owens, Phil Thompson and DJ Disciple.PLAYED ALONGSIDE
