I'm a writer who sings, toiling by day as a closed captioner for a video post-production house in midtown Manhattan and toiling at night in a variety of projects that engage and entertain my irreverent high-maintenance mind. I'm a NYC/Texas hybrid, having spent aggregate halves of my life in each place. I used to practice law and spent some time writing for the Houston Chronicle. Before that, I was an actor, a teacher and the best damn saloon singer and voiceover talent in Harris County. I speak fluent French and am almost as good at accents as Meryl Streep. I am married to a German national to whom I lovingly refer as "The Hun" and we live in an apartment in a tiny Italian neighborhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

I'd like to meet:
smart, funny, articulate people. I especially like creative types (writers, actors, musicians, filmmakers). Age really doesn't matter to me, but we have to be able to communicate, right? I would very much like to meet fellow singers.
